Stevens sculpts a wild variety of animals freehand -- no molds are used. So each piece is totally unique. Many pieces are mounted on Manzanita wood, which is an evergreen shrub that grows in the Southwest. Some pieces are also mounted on Agate slabs and pieces of Alabaster.
The animals Ed sculpts include North American wildlife such as deer, moose, elk,
bears, eagles and hummingbirds etc. More exotic creatures such as
flamingos, hippos, rhinos, alligators and sea creatures such as dolphins
are also there.
